Pamukkale

Pammukale is a Turkish city located in the River Menderes Valley and is best known for its hot springs and travertines. The city boasts 17 thermal springs with temperatures ranging from 35 degrees to 100 degrees. Soak in the warmth of the water at Traventines - stunning white calcite terrace brimming with mineral-rich waters on the mountain above the village. Explore the Hierapolis city ruins just above the travertines. An ancient spa city, Hierapolis now has ruins of a Roman Theatre, the temple of Apollo, Byzantine church among others. The Roman theatre is the highlight of Hierapolis with a 12000 seat capacity overlooking the mountains.
