Puno

Puno is a quaint city situated in southeastern Peru on the shores of the majestic Lake Titicaca and an excellent base to navigate the region. Visit the cathedral of Puno located in the Plaza de Armas built in the baroque style in the mid 18th century. The church has an interesting facade made of stone and decorated with human images and wild plants. Take a tour on the reed boats and immerse in the culture and traditions of the Uros people at the floating island of Uros. Visit the archeological complex of Sillustani situated at a 40-minute drive from Puno. Sillustani was home to the Kingdom of Colla who were buried along with jewels and other valuable items.
