Vratsa

Vratsa is a small town located in the foothills of the Balkan mountains in Bulgaria. The Vratsa historical museum houses significant artifacts of European civilization and gives a peek into the evolution of Bulgaria. The Rogozen treasure, a Thracian trove with its collection of silvers, is one of the most prized possessions in the museum. Ledenika Cave is a popular tourist attraction. The cave features stunning karst formations. The 300-meter long cave has ten halls for exhibits and concerts. Make a trip to the Skaklya Waterfalls, the highest in the Balkan region. A hike to the top of waterfalls gives an excellent view of Vratsa and the mountains.
